The Association for Library Collections and Technical Services (ALCTS) 50th Anniversary year, Commemorating Our Past, Celebrating Our Present, Creating Our Future,is off to a fine start, thanks to our many sponsors. The Midwinter Meeting in Seattle (January 19–24, 2007) was a huge success with record numbers at hot-topic forums, a light-hearted Kick-Off Membership Reception, and a sell-out crowd for the ALCTS Midwinter Symposium, Definitely Digital.
The celebration continues at the ALCTS' National Conference (June 20 and 21, 2007) and at special events during ALA’s Annual Conference in Washington, D.C. (June 21–27, 2007).
We look forward to welcoming new sponsors, who can help support these and other events:
- 1.5-day National Conference, Interactive Futures:
- gala ALCTS 50th Anniversary Dinner Cruise
- commemorative reprint issue of Library Resources & Technical Services volume 1, number 1.
We gratefully acknowledge our current sponsors (as ofMarch '07) for their continuing support: Amazon.com, EBSCO Information Services, Innovative Interfaces, OCLC, Elsevier, Preservation Technologies, and Swets.
